We launched the current version of Voicemod on desktop—V2—a while ago, now. And while at the time it was by far the best real-time voice changer and soundboard on the planet, there are always improvements to make. The tech is still great, and our voices are still second to none, but we want Voicemod to be amazing.

Our team of boffins has been working hard for months to bring you those improvements. But rather than fixing up an older app, we thought it would be better to simply refresh and restart, rolling up those improvements into one central place: Voicemod V3.

What is Voicemod V3?

Voicemod V3 is the latest version of the Voicemod desktop app for PC and Mac. It’s built from the ground up to run faster, sound better, and use fewer resources than V2—it’s an all-round improvement! V3 features the voice changers and soundboards you love—just better.

• Rebuilt from scratch: this new version of the Voicemod app has been built from the ground up to offer a better experience. Technology moves on, and we’re enthusiastic about keeping up with those advances!
• Updated UI: we’ve made Voicemod much easier to navigate and use. Our UI is more intuitive, faster, and much easier to navigate—and we think it looks a lot better, too
• Supercharged sound: we’ve spent a lot of time optimizing our voices. In fact, we’ve made a lot of changes that are far too technical to list here. But these changes mean far better sounding, more realistic voices.
• Lighter, faster, stronger: this new version of Voicemod is lean and mean, with power in all the right places. This means faster startup, faster voice switching—we’ve made performance gains wherever we can. You’ll hear a reduction in crackling artifacts, and notice a reduction in latency. File size reductions mean your sounds are smaller, but sound just as great!
• Your Content, Everywhere You Go: our cloud synchronization keeps your content safe, accessible, and up-to-date across all your devices. Enjoy the freedom of having everything you need at your fingertips, no matter where you are.
• Customizable soundboards: create custom soundboards full of your favorite sounds & voices, then drag and drop to reorder however you like!
• Control with your smartphone: we’ve added landscape mode, native iPad support, and a customizable grid to the free Voicemod Soundboard (available for Android and iOS): instantly switch voices and trigger sounds on your computer using a smartphone or tablet, lag-free. And it auto-syncs with V3, too!
